La lotta per la scoperta delle "password" di accesso ai segreti dei computer essenziali ( Sicurezza Nazionale, archivi dell' F B I, banche) è dura, lunga e tenace. I sabotatori o pirati (gli Hackers), si avvalgono perfino di un loro lessico specializzato. Nelle mani di minorenni è arrivato un potere smisurato, zeppo di insidie sottili e di effetti devastanti. Un evento generazionale, un gioco che ha confini illimitati, ma sempre eccitante, il quale fa ignorare il sonno nella ricerca più accanita e che perfino riesce ad inquinare la tecnologia più avanzata.
